Tim - Lady K

Tim, thanks for taking a look.

I built Praxis Mariner specifically for professional marine surveyors. Rather than send you a bunch of information or ask for an email address, I put together this page so you can have a look whenever you have a few minutes.

I’d especially value your perspective because you know this industry and the people in it.

Built with passion

The basic idea behind Praxis Mariner is to let a surveyor do as much of the actual report work as possible while they’re still aboard the vessel — observations, photos, recommendations, repair estimates and report organization — instead of reconstructing everything later at a desk.

Every section of the report is customizable. It’s designed to make report generation easy and professional.

It’s built for iPhone and iPad, works offline in the field, and produces the finished PDF report from the survey data.

Praxis Mariner isn't intended to tell a surveyor how to survey a vessel or replace professional judgment. The software is intended to remove as much of the repetitive administrative work surrounding the survey as possible.

The goal is make it easy to document what you see, photograph it, make the recommendation, and have that information flow naturally into the final report.

You’ve spent a lot of time around surveyors, boat buyers and the marine industry, so I’d genuinely be interested in anything that stands out to you — good or bad.

Does the workflow make sense? Does the report look like something a professional surveyor would be comfortable putting their name on? Is there anything you think I’m missing?

I’d genuinely value your thoughts.

Thank for your time Tim.
